HO Scale Trains
The current display was started in December 2000 in the original freight room to replace an outdated one that was 30 years old. The new display is double decked and was constructed with metal studs, masonite spline roadbed and various scenery techniques of scenes roughly depicting the area between Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
It is a single track operation powered by Digitraxx DCC with long passing sidings and branch lines serving the steel industry as well as small industries along the line. Continuous changes to the scenery are on going as different areas are being revitalized.
N Scale Trains
In the West Waiting Room lies our N Scale layout. A current revamp of our N scale Layout is on going. Our layout consists of 4 intertwining loops all and several connection tracks. This allows for continuous operation of four different trains at the same time around the layout. This layout is run on DC power. This layout is a favorite among children due to its "slot-car like" style.
O Scale Trains
The East waiting room of the Depot features a fully landscaped multiple track Hi-Rail O Scale layout that was built in 1999. This layout succeeded an earlier layout that had been built in the 1980’s. Above it is a loop of G (Garden) scale track for those members interested in large scale trains.
G Scale Trains
Ceiling mounted G scale track for those members interested in large scale trains. This loop track is of simple design and runs above the O Scale layout in the East Waiting Room.
